A long time ago (2009), in a galaxy far, far away (Udine), I took my first steps in the world of home recording, and recorded with very little means and in very low fidelity some demos of the songs that would later become "Verità Rivestite d'Ombra", Lullabier's first album.
But I soon convinced myself to record all the songs again in a less amateurish way, and the version of "Verità Rivestite d'Ombra" that was shortly after published on CD by Silentes was born after several evenings in a studio, in which melodies and ideas piled up as fast as empty cans and filled ashtrays.
It was a fun and formative period.
Lately I've found myself thinking about how that album would have sounded with less colorful (or more colorful, depending on the point of view) mastering, and this edition is the answer to that question (and the download via Bandcamp includes as bonus tracks the original demos!).
